๐ As part of Work Package II: Assessment of upskilling needs & Dissemination I, project partners are now starting activity 2.3: Surveying of care professionals. ![]()

Activity 2.2: Desk research has been successfully completed, with national desk research papers submitted by each project partner. They study the social care sectors, ecosystems, and professionals of each participating country, assess the state of the use and needs of tech-enhanced tools for social care, explore existing tech-enhanced tools, and study their applicability to each countryโs sector. ![]()
๐Project partners are currently working on a common survey questionnaire, translated into each national language and submitted to social care professionals digitally. They are, in parallel, reaching out to as many social care professionals as possible to target a large group and rather representative data. ![]()

๐ The results of the survey will be collected progressively and will inform the drafting by project partners of an action plan (activity 2.4). This action plan will, in turn, guide project partnersโ action for Work package III, starting in the Summer: Training development and Dissemination actions III. ![]()

๐ over 80% of women working in five out of eleven systemically relevant professions, including care, in Austria
๐in Norway, 82.7% of social and health care professionals are women
๐ in the Czech Republic, about 81.5% of women work in social services.
๐ in Slovakia, women make up around 80% of the workforce in areas such as health, social services, and education. ![]()

๐ As part of Work Package II: Assessment of upskilling needs & Dissemination I, project partners have been compiling literature, articles, and best practices for the past month. They are now compiling these elements into national desk research papers, thereby completing activity 2.2. All national studies are expected to be completed by the end of this week. ![]()
๐Each national desk research will cover and explore three main aspects:
General target group definition: social care professionals, qualifications, digital skills, etc.
Education of the target group: Education trajectories and trends, legal background, socio-geographic and economic differences, etc.
Tech-related needs of care professionals: State of the use and needs of tech-enhanced tools for social care, study of existing solutions and their applicability to specific national contexts.![]()
๐ After desk research papers are finalized, project partners will move on to activity 2.3: surveying of care professionals. This activity will be the occasion to go on the field, to confirm and complement the research findings with the experience of social care practitioners. ![]()
